known as the Commercial Hotel was Established in 1915, it was
later renamed The Swellengrebel Hotel.
The Jorge Family
purchased The Swellengrebel Hotel in 1974 and have been managing it
ever since.
In 2001 The
Swellengrebel Hotel won the AA Award –
Best Commercial Hotel and was the recipient of the SAGA Top 10 and
SAGA Foods Awards.
